Last Saturday was a perfect September Market day. A little bit cool, but with a beautiful blue sky. Saturday also happened to be the day that Withrow Market launched our Urban Growers Pilot Project, something we’ve been working on getting up and running these past few weeks.
Now that the summer is almost over, planning has already begun for next year’s market season. We have been so happy with the successes this year; for some time, there was uncertainty over the market opening at all.

As Rhea walked in the Autumn Makers’ Market, she knew that each Maker had a story to tell. From upcycling to hand-making their goods, the Market brought new perspectives to this fast fashion driven society.
Mozhgan noticed during her first visit that Withrow Market was a family-oriented community in which people are kind, spend quality time interacting with one another and most importantly, they care about their health and environment.
