We need a makeover!
2021 marks the 15th year of the market and we are ready for a refresh!
We are looking for a local artist to design a new logo and update our look to better reflect our vision and capture our passion, community focus, modern urban vibe and deep commitment to ecological sustainability.
Organizational Information
Vision: “A local sustainable economy that strengthens community connection and environmental stewardship.”
Mission: “To be a well-run, financially secure and community-supported group that provides a platform for environmental and community initiatives, built around an inclusive farmers’ market of ecological farmers, food artisans and artists.”
Deliverables
- Workshop in April to establish our needs, aspirations and requirements
- Logo/wordmark. Needs to work well on small social media accounts as well as on large banners. Logo to be delivered as a high resolution EPS file
- Brand colours and fonts. Fonts and colours need to work well across digital and print formats.
Payment
$1,000 flat rate, inclusive of applicable taxes

Key dates
- March 29: Interested designers shall submit a CV and portfolio with a statement regarding their interest in this project to clfi.board@gmail.com
- Week of March 29: follow-up discussions with shortlisted designers
- April 5: Designer chosen
- Week of April 12: Designer to lead a discussion with board member to understand board vision and organizational needs, aspirations and requirements
- April 26: Preliminary designs submitted
- May 10: Final design chosen
- June: We introduce our new look to the world!
