We grow and sell native plants (flowers, shrubs and trees) to support bees, birds and butterflies in our local ecosystems. Dorte also offers garden consultations, talks, presentations and workshops.
Native plants are the foundation of the food web and habitat for local wildlife, including bees, birds, and butterflies. They are the ecologically sound choice for environmentally concerned people. Our native plants are locally grown from locally adapted seeds. Regular nurseries mainly offer ornamental plants, which are often invasive and harmful to our wildlife. We make it easy to access these hard-to-get locally grown native plants. We grow the plants in plastic pots that you can return to us so we can reuse them.
