Join the Withrow Market Board of Directors
Are you ready to make a meaningful impact in your community?
We are a dedicated, hands-on Board of Directors committed to supporting the success and sustainability of Withrow Market. As a small non-profit organization with a maximum of seven Board members and a lean team of part-time seasonal staff, our board plays an active role in guiding and strengthening the organization.
While the market operates during the summer and fall months, the work of the Board and its committees continues throughout the year. Board members are expected to contribute their time, expertise, and energy to support the organization’s governance, strategic direction, and long-term growth.
We are fortunate to have a capable team of staff, volunteers, and an Operations Committee who manage the day-to-day activities of the market. At this time, we are seeking board members who can contribute through strong skills and experience in areas such as governance, administration, policy development, strategic planning, fundraising, finance, or community engagement.
We are a welcoming, collaborative, and inclusive group that values diverse perspectives and lived experiences. We are particularly interested in attracting candidates who will help broaden the representation of our board and reflect the rich cultural diversity of Riverdale and the surrounding community. Experience working within Ontario’s non-profit sector would be considered an asset.
