Don’t throw it away\, or stash it in your jewellery box or closet. \nCome to our repair cafe on Saturday\, August 2 from 9 am to 1 pm to learn how to fix it—for free! \nRegardless of monetary value\, if you want to use it\, it’s worth it to fix it. Whether it’s a necklace\, bracelet\, earrings\, cufflinks\, or even a keychain\, small DIY repairs can get your baubles looking as good as new. We can replace the little hardware “findings” or teach you how to clean your jewellery. And we can likely advise you if you need to see a silversmith for more complex repairs. \nOr learn how to keep all your favourite clothes in your closet at our free visible mending repair clinic! DESCRIPTION:Need something? Take something home from one of our completely free markets! \nWe’re excited to bring “swaps” to the market community! Why? Because we’re richer when we share! Our 100% free market allows guests to donate and/or take\, entirely for free – please bring your own bag if you can! (We will have some during the event.) \nBring your gently used baby gear\, baby and children’s toys\, baby and kids clothing\, books and school supplies to Withrow Park Farmers’ Market on Saturday\, August 16\, 2024. Don’t have anything to donate but need stuff for the kids? No worries\, come find what you need. All are welcome! No need to donate in order to take. \nThere is a one-bag plus one big item limit until 12 noon. After 12 noon\, visitors can take as much as they can carry! \nAll items must be in good working condition\, clean\, free of cracks and chips\, please. If you would gift it to a friend\, you can bring it to our swap! \nItems appropriate for ages 0-12 are welcomed! \nWhat to bring: Clothes (all kids sizes\, all genders)\, toys\, stuffed animals\, baby gear and toddler gear\, diaper bags\, Halloween costumes\, books\, school supplies\, colouring books\, crayons and markers\, activity books\, kids utensils\, plates and cups\, \nAll items must be in good working condition\, clean\, free of rips\, tears and stains.\nPlease bag toy sets together\n🚫 No cribs\, jolly jumpers\, car seats or recalled items\, please. \n🗓 Saturday\, August 16\, 2025\n📍 North/East corner of Withrow Park\n🛍 Drop-offs: 8am to 12pm\n♻️ “Swapping”: 9am to 1pm\n🛑 Donated items will NOT be accepted after 12 pm.\n☔️☀️ This event is rain or shine!
